The Kink Community’s Exclusion Of Hitmen Is Rooted In Whorephobia And Slutshaming

It’s time I addressed the problem of hitmen like me being shut out of the kink and BDSM community.

Clearly nobody in the scene has a problem with murderers, which is some progress, at least: here in the UK, an average of two AMABs every week murder their AFAB partners, and the vast majority of them have a history of enjoying dominating or hitting their partners – proud kinksters, all.

So the objection to including assassins under the kink umbrella can only come from the minor differences between us:

1. We charge money.
The belief that charging for pain play, blood play and breath play suddenly makes all these practices immoral is clear whorephobia. (No, I don’t think “whore” is a slur, and even if it were, I’m allowed to say it.)

2. We’re not in a relationship with our targets.
When you imply that a killer has to be in a committed, romantic, domestic relationship with his target, you are moralising about what sort of relationships are an acceptable context for GBH and murder. That is slut-shaming. (No, “slut” isn’t a bad word either, see “whore” above.)

If folx in the BDSM scene would stop this gatekeeping, I think they’d see that assassins belong right there with them. We could teach you some tricks, I know at least twenty ways to torture someone with a hotel trouser press.

The thing is, as a professional killer, I’ve always been very careful not to leave marks on my targets, because generally it’s considered unprofessional and a bit gauche to leave evidence of violence at a murder scene. You either get rid of the body or make it look like an accident – only cheap thugs like Dmitry kill people and leave the corpse lying around obviously a victim of grievous violence.

So, I just have to ask: when you’re battering your girlfriend, how do you manage to leave marks on her and get away without being hassled by the police, or by witnesses? Dmitry usually pays off the police or gets his family to blackmail them into leaving him alone. I’d do the same, but all of my family members disowned me shortly after I went to university and they found out I hadn’t actually stopped torturing small animals, I’d just got better at hiding their bodies under the burned remains of my father’s shed.

Being a professional killer, arrest and imprisonment is a real occupational hazard for me. If I get sent to a men’s prison, I most certainly do not want to share a cell with a violent paedophile like Andi!

Honestly, what on earth is wrong with women? They need to sort themselves out and stop being predators!

I couldn’t take it any more. I stood up and said, “I have a suggestion! You haven’t even mentioned hitmen. We face murder attempts more often, we are threatened more often. I have been followed, you know!”

She said, “So have I, the book’s about a stalker who tried to kill me. It’s the same, you’re a part of that too.”

Well, hearing her dismiss me by not centring me, I’m afraid the familiar red mist descended, and

I found myself screaming “Hitmen are in prisons! And what have you done for them?”

Before I could say anything else, I was frogmarched from the premises, in a clear violation of my human rights to talk over attempted murder victims about murders. They don’t know the first thing about murders!

Anyway, I’m sorry I got quite so emotional and expressed myself rather poorly. I’m usually more of a “cold blood” sort of chap.
But I’ll get over it. I’m doing a string of killings for a client this week, that’ll cheer me up.

The Manchurian Candidate is an insensitive depiction of triggers

Today we’re talking triggers, folx! I don’t mean the mechanism on Dmitry’s Heckler&Koch or on my .22 (shut up, it’s what you do with it that counts), I mean psychological triggers.
Most hitmen and hit-non-men were introduced to the concept by the very problematic classic thriller, The Manchurian Candidate, in which our hero is conditioned to obey instructions to commit assassinations upon hearing a “trigger” phrase.
In the real world, it isn’t like that at all! Folx who’ve suffered severe trauma such as abuse, war, bereavement, torture, or (speaking personally for a moment, if I may) assigned-female-at-births talking and ignoring them, they might develop triggers relating to these experiences. That means they may feel distressed or panicked if they unexpectedly encounter something that reminds them of the trauma.
The best thing to do, in most cases, is warn peoplx that there may be upsetting content so that they can prepare themselves. Unfortunately, mine is so very major, much more so than anyone else’s, that nothing but removing the trigger entirely will suffice. That means AFABs should pipe down and not discuss ANYTHING that isn’t somehow related to or doesn’t affect me. Otherwise I will be very upset indeed and you should feel SUPER GUILTY.
