good parts of radical feminism; antikink, understanding that men perpetuate fascism, liberating from gender roles, small pockets of lesbian separatism, the psychology of abuse beyond the “pray it away” solution conservativism offers, sex positivity that isn’t hella heteronormative/normalizing abuse.
bad parts; condoning terfs
Bad parts of radical feminism: pretending that transphobia is just a small side effect, rather than the main interest of contemporary radfems. Also pretending that fantasies are the same as abuse, therefore demonizing people for harmless thoughts and consensual sexual activity.
^^^THANK YOU. I am sick and tired of folx saying my activities are abusive! It’s a harmless fantasy.
Well, I mean, I do actually attack the targets for real, and leave real injuries (in my enforcement/debt collection work). But what I mean is, the context is a fantasy. They have real bruises and cuts, but I make them tell the police that they fell down the stairs. And that’s the fantasy part!
I wish people wouldn’t demonise me for enjoying thinking about and acting on violence. It’s always been like this, even when I was a child my babysitter calling me a “little fucking psychopath“ (an ableist slur, bt-dubs) for tying up the neighbours’ cat and poking it with sticks, to the judiciary saying all sorts of cruel things about me when I was on remand (one of the few communities where I felt validated).
Nice to meet another kinkster! ^_^ If you want any tips on cleaning up blood and silencing witnesses, just let me know xoxo
